Storage+ CompTIA Training Certification Course Powered by SNIA

Overview

Storage is not going away!  Join this exciting hands on course and start the journey to achieving the CompTIA Storage+ certification.  We use only CompTIA Approved Quality Curriculum (CAQC).  This class is intended to prepare students for the CompTIA Storage+ Powered by SNIA Exam SGO-001.

In this class you will build fundamental skills and capabilities in storage networking including:

  • Storage Fundamentals
  • Virtualization
  • SAN Architecture & Management

Tuition includes all manuals, exercises books, practice exams, and the VUE exam voucher.

What you will learn

As you prepare for the CompTIA Storage+ exam you will build an extraordinary skill-set including:

  • Core fundamentals of Storage/Networking
  • Understand the physical design and operation of modern LAN/WAN architectures
  • Explore real world disk drive and other media technologies
  • Experience first hand how modular storage arrays, network connectors, and cabling are deployed in Storage architectures
  • Gain practical experience with Fibre Channel (FC) and Ethernet iSCSI SAN design
  • Build and test Storage Virtualization solutions
  • Learn how to manage, secure, test, and troubleshoot Storage networks.

Who Needs to Attend

People interested in pursuing the CompTIA Storage+ certification and anyone interested in the topic of IT storage / SAN will benefit from this class.

This course is taught at our public locations, onsite, and in our Live Virtual classroom format.

Prerequisites

Attendees require solid networking LAN/WAN skills prior to the start of class.  This can be accomplished by obtaining the CompTIA Network+ certification, or completing of the TrainingCity course, "TCP/IP Training Hands On Course with Ethernet" or "Fundamentals of Telecommunications + LAN & WAN Networking Training".
